Custom design in the server market rarely means entirely new products, what it means is taking the best options from the market and ensuring that they work in harmony. In this situation the key skillset is experience, our highly experienced technical sales team and production engineering department work together to ensure that your custom solution not only meets your requirement but also works flawlessly. To achieve this, we consider:

Form Factor: Space, heat and noise are primary concerns, simply put there is a balance between the three that is overlooked by most requirements, our team can guide you through the delicate balance between these factors.

Storage and Memory: Storage has been one of the major beneficiaries of the last 5 years of technological development, increasing generations of PCIe connectivity and the accompanying NVMe drives have set new standards in IOPs and speed, only to be held back by old fashioned RAID architectures. We can help you get the best from your drives via solutions such as GRAID and ZFS for extreme capacities.

Platform: Not all CPUs and GPUs are created equal, and not all CPUs and GPUs exist in an easy-to-understand ranking system, the bigger the number does not always mean the better, our system architects can tell you why and what you should be aiming for your workload.

Networking: We work with chassis designed and customised to take the very latest Network interface cards from 1 Gbps all the way to 400 Gbps.

Lifecycle Management and Procurement Support: Our product managers decades of experience with the supply chain can help you understand the timelines for you long term projects. If you need up front buys, spares requirements, the lifecycle of the components in your builds. Our logistics team can help manage the storage and dispatch of these spares and replacements over the years-long implementation of your projects.

Support: All our solutions come with a 3-year return base hardware warranty with lifetime UK based Technical Support. We also understand that projects and custom builds are rarely that easy, so we offer services such as defective media retention warranties, advanced replacement warranty and extended life warranties including onsite spares and access to SC cleared engineers.

Manageability: Our dedicated server solutions all come with IPMI/Redfish based Baseboard Management with no licensing gates on critical features such as iKVM or remote control

Scalability and Upgrades: Our Solution Architects can help you understand your options to expand and refresh your capabilities, either via in place upgrades of components or via fit, form and function replacements in your current environment.

Environmental Engineering: Solutions for most environments, including DEF-STAN 00-35 compliant temperature, humidity, transport and vibration solutions.

Compliance and Safety: In depth FAT testing, CoC and export compliance documentation are available and will be tailored to fit your companies processes and procedures. This along with a proven history of providing CE qualified solutions and building and installing solutions in compliance with JSP 480 and the revised JSP 604 standards, working with SCIDA representatives to ensure compliance.

Buying the hardware is just the start. With a wide range of warranty and support plans our SC cleared engineers and award-winning support team will ensure that mission critical systems are maintained to the highest level, at all times.

Redundancy and Reliability: Key to our solutions is considering the possibilities that could happen we design our racks, with UPS backed Power distribution, often with the ability to utilise separate power inputs. Our infrastructure solutions can be engineered with high availability and replication in mind, supporting a weird range of situations such as hybrid on-premises cloud architecture, multi-site replication or simply just effective backup ad disaster recovery infrastructure.

Custom Cables and Connectivity: We understand that in many situations, organisation is the hardest requirement to create, hence all our racks come with exceptional cable management, labelling, documentation and where appropriate custom cable manufacture and looming. In addition, we also offer custom patch panels and connectivity that can be designed with your connectivity identifiers laser engraved, grounded and organised.
