Modern Slavery Overview
Novatech Ltd. is committed to operating ethically and responsibly. We recognise our role in helping to eliminate modern slavery and human trafficking across our operations and supply chains.
In line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have implemented robust measures to prevent human trafficking, slavery, forced or compulsory labour, and slavery across our business and supply network.
Structure and Supply Chains
Although over 95% of our suppliers are based in the UK, we remain vigilant in identifying and managing the risks of modern slavery throughout our global supply chain.
Due Diligence and Risk Mitigation
We have adopted the following strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks:
Supplier Due Diligence
• Enforcement of our Supplier Code of Conduct
• Supplier approval process includes modern slavery risk screening
• Collection and review of suppliers' Modern Slavery Statements (where available)
• Ongoing monitoring of supplier compliance with relevant legislation
• Regular supply chain analysis conducted by senior leadership
Employee Safeguards
• Rigorous recruitment processes, including right-to-work checks and reference verification
• A comprehensive Employee Handbook outlining relevant policies
• Modern slavery awareness training for key personnel
• A Whistleblowing Policy to protect individuals raising concerns
• Company values that promote ethical behaviour
• Disciplinary procedures for breaches of conduct
• Mandatory training on Health & Safety, Equality, Anti-Bribery, and Environmental responsibilities
Remote and Hybrid Working
Our hybrid working model supports flexibility while maintaining high standards in recruitment and onboarding. All new employees complete a minimum one-month in-office induction to ensure compliance, security, and alignment with company values.
Our 2025/2026 Commitments
• Keep our Modern Slavery Policy and Statement regularly updated
• Maintain vigilance in recruitment and onboarding practices
• Review supplier policies to identify and address supply chain risks
• Update terms and conditions to reinforce our zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery
Novatech takes responsibility for this Statement and its objectives and will review and update it annually in accordance with the Act.
