Most of the solutions we advocate are open source, which means they are generally freely available in one form or another wither in source code or full function solutions. Their code is online for you to compile and install, audit or review.

You own the hardware and the solution as we built it, if, after a period you wish to run it yourself, you can, it’s yours. You can update, manage, patch, change and re-engineer all you want.
We use partnerships with companies that maintain software such as Proxmox, Truenas and Slurm to provide comprehensive enterprise level support for software that, while it is freely available, in your environment you need to be able to get an answer quickly rather than read documentation and forum posts. We give access to the people that write the code and the fixes that come from that, as well as our own engineers and architects that have decades of experience with many different infrastructure environments and requirements to design the whole solution.
Beyond the software
Buying the hardware and software is just the start. With a wide range of warranty and support plans our SC cleared engineers and award-winning support team will ensure that mission critical systems are maintained to the highest level, at all times.
So if you need an open source enterprise ready hypervisor to replace a contract that suddenly increased in renew costs by 300% but still needs to be compatible with your Veeam based backup infrastructure, we can not only install Proxmox VE for you on your server as part of your build, we can migrate your current infrastructure, provide you with a support contract and also our own enhanced support options, not because it won’t work without it, but because it’s worthwhile and of value.
If you need to start to spread you jobs out over multiple servers and workstations, we’ll install and configure a SLURM job scheduler to run your cluster, we’ll provide NFS storage via servers and switches that you own, that don’t have license fees or stop working if a license code is withdrawn. We’ll install an identity management and security solution that will continue to work for as long you feel comfortable running it. To be clear, we are in the business of selling hardware and solutions, we offer support and expertise, we charge for these things, we don’t recommend you running open-source solutions without support or not updating your security patches.
We advocate support subscriptions, enhanced care packages, design consultancy, SLAs, maintenance windows and reviews. However, what we also offer is choice, plain and simple, we think you will choose us not because you have to or because of clever buzzwords and marketing, but because we know what we are doing.
