The range features a choice of processors, ranging from the Intel Celeron to the powerful Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor family.

Intel® Xeon® E Series Servers

The perfect choice for small business servers, Xeon E Series processors bring the reliability of server-grade CPUs to a more accessible market. Classic use cases include servers using GUI interfaces, single task or application servers, entry level web servers and professional grade workstations.

The current Kaby Lake-based E3 v6 range of quad-core processors are available either with or without hyperthreading and in a range of frequencies up from 3Ghz up to 4.1 and are energy efficient with TDPs coming n between 70-80W.

Intel® Xeon® Scalable Servers

Intel's scalable platform is the bulk of their server CPU offering. Whether you require the efficiency and value of a single or dual socket silver for your virtualisation servers, or the high memory and 4 socket models of the gold and platinum range to power your HPC and metadata nodes, there is an option perfect for your needs within this range.

Within this range you will find virtualisation servers, compute nodes, and a variety of application and database servers perfect for modern workloads.

AMD EPYC Servers

AMD's top line server offering is top notch when it comes to individual CPU specifications, boasting, in particular, the ability to address high amounts of RAM, large numbers of PCIe lanes for connectivity and a higher core count at the top end of the model range.
