At Novatech, we set ourselves a goal to create a HQ that would be Net Positive by the end of 2023.
Our journey wasn’t cheap and we faced roadblocks along the way. However, taking steps towards this goal has given us a real sense of purpose. We hope our story can be inspiring to other businesses looking to up their sustainability efforts.

We have strived to improve our own carbon footprint creating a more sustainable business:
Improved the insulation of the building by re-skinning the entire roof.
Installed a 400KWh Solar Panel system, consisting of 825 panels, maximizing the roof space of the building.
Invested in air source heat pumps and an electrical thermal unit to remove gas entirely from our building by the end of the year, enabling us to take another step closer to becoming an A+ energy rated building.
Invested in employee training so they understand what impact they can have in reducing our energy consumption as a business.
Reusing your existing assets through regular refreshes and redeployment will also cut your emissions and prevent e-waste, helping your business to create a more sustainable IT footprint.
