FitzRoy is a UK charity dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. The Challenge 

Many of FitzRoy’s older computers in their day services had become too slow and unreliable, making digital inclusion difficult for the people they support. FitzRoy needed a practical way to upgrade its old computers across multiple day services without taking funds away from frontline care.

Their day services play a critical role in providing opportunities for social interaction, skill development, and community involvement.

The Solution

Through another Direct2Desk customer – a leading UK utilities company – Novatech learned that the organisation had a number of surplus devices available. Recognising an opportunity to create greater impact, Novatech proposed donating these devices to FitzRoy instead of sending them to landfill. The company kindly agreed, choosing to give their surplus equipment a second life supporting a meaningful cause.

Each device was securely wiped, refurbished, and promptly delivered to FitzRoy’s day services for immediate use.
